Free deer seminar for landowners offered in Breckinridge County

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Landowners who want to better manage for deer on their property can meet with the experts at the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources in Hardinsburg Feb. 25.

This two-hour seminar will cover a variety of topics concerning deer management, including habitat improvements, deer survey techniques, selective harvesting and population monitoring.

Programs begin at 6 p.m. Central time at the University of Kentucky Breckinridge County Cooperative Extension Service, 1377 KY 261, Hardinsburg.

The seminar is free for landowners or anyone who wishes to learn more about deer management.
