January Outdoor Calendar For Nebraska

The following is a listing of Nebraska Game and Parks Commission events in January:

Jan. 1

– January Antlerless deer season opens.

Jan. 3

– Duck season closes in Low Plains Late Unit.

Jan. 8

– First segment of light goose season closes statewide.

Jan. 8-10

– Central Deer Camp, Alda, Becoming an Outdoors-Woman event, (402) 471-6144.

– Baxter Deer Camp, Milligan, Becoming an Outdoors-Woman event, (402) 471-6144.

Jan. 13

– Duck season closes in High Plains Unit.

Jan. 15

– January Antlerless deer season closes.

– Nebraska Game and Parks Board of Commissioners meeting, Lincoln, 9 a.m.

Jan. 19

– Special crow season closes.

Jan. 22

– Dark goose season closes in North Central Unit.

Jan. 23

– Second segment of light goose season opens statewide.

Jan. 27

– Dark goose hunting season closes in East Unit.

Jan. 31

– Squirrel season closes.

– Pheasant, quail and partridge seasons close.
