Outdoor Nebraska: Bald Eagle Release – video

On December 23, 2009, Nebraska Conservation Officer Duane Arp was called to recover a shot Bald Eagle. The shooter was never found but the bird healed with the Rapter Recovery people. Arp released the immature female back to the wild on June 30, 2010 near the Ak Sar Ben Aquarium along the Platte River south of Gretna, NE.
