Fish & Game Commission Passes Resolution on Wolves – Video
Eleven days after a federal judge placed wolves back on the edangered species list, the regional director of the U.S. Fish And Wildlife Service, stood before the Idaho Fish and Game Commission and took the blame. Robin Thorson, Regional Director of the U.S Fish and Wildife Service said, “The federal rule failed and my emphasis is that Idaho didn’t fail it’s constituents nor the requirements of the endangered species act.” Wolves, she said, are recovered in Idaho and should be seen as an endangered species act success story. A story that instead is now marred.

its about time the fws come out and publicly state who’s side they are on in this issue. And not just the state but then entire wolf relisting. the entire deal of managing animals at state or federal level has become nothing more than a political pin for too many people and we the outdoors men and women are the losers to these selfish acts.

I agree that the fish and game wildlife service always seems to sit quiet on the sidelines and it makes you wonder what is actually going through their department on decisions like this. It’s good to see that they have taken a stance to at least say that this judge is in the wrong even if its in a rounabout way. Maybe the judge himself is an anti hunter.
