Hundreds Of Tiger Sharks In Feeding Frenzy – Video

Hundreds of tiger sharks gathered to feed on a group of prey fish off the east coast of Noosa, Australia. A rescue helicopter flying through the area caught the action on video as sharks at their way through the schooling fish. Nearby beaches were notified and no human conflicts occurred during the event. Although typically solitary species, some species of sharks have been documented as pack hunters forming groups to engage larger concetrations of food sources. While others dispute the action as a normal instinct by the sharks to gather where food congregates, it still creates a visually impressive show of numbers.
