Believers and foundations like Bigfoot Research Organization are calling this piece of evidence proof of a juvenile bigfoot. Skeptics and authorities call it simply just another hoax and nothing more than a black bear with a severe case of mange.

Rick Jacobs, a hunter from Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania, reportedly retrieved this photo from his trail camera located in the Allegheny National Forest. Jacobs originally hoped to catch a nice buck on camera and was surprised to view the footage and find this creature.

“We couldn’t figure out what they were,” Jacobs said. “I’ve been hunting for years and I’ve never seen anything like this.”

Apparently the hunter tried to determine the true species of the animal but, after a week of dead-ends he contacted the Bigfoot Research Center for closer observation.

Paul Majeta of the Bigfoot Research Organization claims to have traveled to Pennsylvania for a visit to the location to retrieve further evidence and information from the scene. The exact location of the photo has not been publicized.

“My impression is that it is not a bear,” Majeta said. “It appears to be a primate-like animal. In my opinion, it appears to be a juvenile Sasquatch.”

Eric Altman, who heads the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society, would not make an official statement without further research of the photos from primatologists and qualified experts.

“Me, personally, I’m leaning towards a bear, but I still don’t know,” said Altman.
