New Mexico Seeking Comments On Big Game Rules Adjustments

The Department of Game and Fish would like you to share your ideas, suggestions and concerns as we begin the process of adjusting big-game hunting rules, seasons and management objectives for the 2009 and 2010 hunting seasons.

This process occurs every 2 years. Public comments are incorporated into proposed adjustments to improve big-game management, hunter experiences, and opportunities for all New Mexicans. These adjustments are then presented to the State Game Commission in the form of recommendations and, after Commission consideration and input, adopted as rule that will establish hunting seasons for 2009 and 2010.
