Michigan Antlerless License Drawing Results Posted Online

The Department of Natural Resources reminds hunters that antlerless license drawing results were posted today (Sept. 1) on the DNR Web site. Postcards will no longer be sent to successful applicants and hunters should check online for their drawing results.

Postcard notification was eliminated as one of several cost-cutting measures adopted by the DNR. Eliminating postcards will save the DNR more than $40,000 in printing and mailing costs annually.

Hunters who do not have computers can use public libraries, or have friends or relatives check their results for them online, at http://www.michigan.gov/dnr. If those options are not available, they may attempt to purchase the license they applied for. The purchase will be allowed if the hunter was selected for the license.

Remaining antlerless deer licenses may be purchased beginning Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. EDT. Hunters may purchase up to two antlerless licenses (public or private) per day. There is a season limit of five private land antlerless licenses per person, with no more than two licenses purchased for Zones 1 and 2 combined (Upper Peninsula and Northern Lower Peninsula), except for DMU 487 in northeastern Lower Peninsula, where there is no license quantity restriction.
