Managed Goose Hunt at Deep Creek and Broadford Lakes

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources announces opportunities to hunt resident Canada goose and waterfowl in Garrett County for the third consecutive year.

Hunters can apply to use three blind sites on Deep Creek Lake and four blind sites at Broadford Lake Nov. 19-21, 2018.

Hunters must be within 50 feet of the stake or buoy marking the designated blind site, except for the purpose of retrieving game.

For details on the reservation process, interested hunters should call the Myrtle Grove Wildlife Management Area office at 301-743-5161 or 301-334-4255.
