Free shooting sports clinic for women in Blanding, Utah
|Work on your shooting skills in this friendly and informative hands-on shooting clinic for women! Instruction includes shooting safety and practical experience handling and firing rifles, shotguns and pistols. Open to participants ages 12 and older of all skill levels. All firearms and equipment are provided.
Join Utah Division of Wildlife Resources firearms experts for this comprehensive shooting clinic, which includes a Friday evening orientation session and Saturday morning hands-on shooting skills practice. It’s a perfect opportunity for beginner and advanced shooters to ask questions and enhance their skills!
Clinic schedule and locations
Friday, June 3, 6–8 p.m. at the Utah State University Blanding Campus (576 W. 200 South); participants will meet with instructors to discuss the essentials of firearms equipment, safety and shooting.
Saturday, June 4, 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at a gun range in Blanding (238 N. 100 East); hands-on instruction for shooting rifles, shotguns and pistols. Lunch will be provided!
Note: Participants must complete the safety training and orientation Friday evening in order to attend the Saturday hands-on portion of the clinic.
This event is designed to give women a supportive, encouraging and comfortable atmosphere where they can learn more about handling firearms and improve their shooting skills.
Participation is limited to the first 30 people ages 12 and older who register online.
