Learn To Trout Fish For Dinner Class

What: Join us for a weekend class at the Sugar Creek Bible Camp nestled in the fabled trout waters of Crawford County. On Friday, we will start at camp to learn about the waters in this area, the species that live in them, and how to access them. You will get dryland practice using a spinning rod and selecting baits and lures in preparation for Saturday’s fishing outing. We will also dabble in the fine art of fly fishing. After a day on the streams, we will return to camp, where you will learn how to clean and cook the catch, then sit down for a potluck dinner.

Sunday is optional and will bring another fishing opportunity if you stay. This is Mother’s Day Weekend and some of our instructors may need to leave early. If you’re a mom, you can consider this your weekend getaway.

All gear, supplies, lodging and meals are provided. A packing list of what to bring and directions to camp will be sent to registrants.
