New Hampshire Commercial Marine Licensing Events
|DURHAM, N.H. — The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, NH Department of Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV), and the NH Division of Ports and Harbors (DPH) will hold two events this winter to provide the commercial fishing industry with “one stop shopping” to obtain their annual commercial fishing licenses, mooring and pier use permits, and vessel registrations — all at one location.
These two licensing days will be held at the Dover DMV office, 50 Boston Harbor Road, Dover, NH, on Thursday, December 8, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; and Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Please note the following:
Only checks or exact change will be accepted for the purchase of commercial fishing licenses and DPH permits; credit/debit cards will not be accepted.
Commercial licenses with reporting requirements will not be issued if reporting is not up to date.
If you have received your current boat registration renewal notice, please bring that with you. If you have not, you will need your current boat registration and valid ID.
Two similar days were held for the 2014, 2015, and 2016 license years, with great success. We look forward to working with our partner agencies to bring this convenience to our commercial fishing industry again this year.
