Reetz Lake Fish Limits Change Sept. 10

PIERRE, S.D. – Back in July, an access agreement was signed with landowners to allow licensed anglers an opportunity to fish Reetz Lake under certain guidelines.

Fishing on Reetz Lake has been open since Aug. 1 and will remain open through Sept. 30, 2018. Landowner permission is required to fish Reetz Lake from Oct. 1 – April 30. The lake will then re-open to the angling public from May 1 – Sept. 30, 2019.

Starting Sept. 10, 2018, daily fish limits for Reetz Lake include:

1 walleye or sauger, 28 inches or greater.
1 yellow perch, 14 inches or greater.
1 black crappie, 15 inches or greater.
1 bluegill, 10 inches or greater.

Statewide regulations for all other fish species.
