South Dakota State Parks Celebrate Winter with Snowshoe Hikes
|PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota State Parks are encouraging folks to get outside and remain active during the winter months.
Several snowshoe hikes are planned in the month of January at parks across the state.
January 6

There is no cost to participate in any of the hikes, although a park entrance license is required. Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy walking shoes or boots and dress in layers. Snow shoes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
